Eric, nice box,but watch that red plug-in-lead for power,i used that idea a while back in jacks mono, vibration on petrol boats can work the connection lose and fall out giving total RX power loss. His boat sped off down the lake at full-on.Luckily the flex shaft snapped and the boat stopped. Zero control of rudder and throttle with no rx battery .

yea, looking good Brod, nice job of Ady's with the stringers. Should be good to see it against Ady's Makara, I reckon it will be a close thing.

got a bit more done, trimtabs, turn fin, rudder, water inlet and outlets, big tank too fitted up front. The headers from the inline motor dont fit the new pipes as i've cut them too short for the Cat pipes need two more to complete. Hoping to get it done for a deadline this saturday and a test run at the lagoon on sunday afternoon. Fresh water first as it needs painting inside after a good thrashing.salt water might damage the bare wood. shouldnt be slow.LOL... i'll post some more pics tomorrow.

Blue Stealth converted to a single now, tested today at Barton lake, ran 52.4mph in glass calm water conditions with the dasboata 7015/3 prop, thats easily puts it at the top of the 50" and over class.lol Eddie witnessed it too. Pipe set at 13",a bit longer than my usual settings.

LOL.prop seemed to 'bite' more, kinda as if it was larger, but still spun fast, very strange. Took afair bit of setting it up for that speed, trimtabs completely up and lots of adjusting angle on the stinger. I reckon these hulls would be better without trimtabs. Speedmaster stinger has gone loose and wobbly again, after renewing all the bolts. Not a good product for the big money it was.

Mart May well do that mart, looks like they can be adjusted for length too? Will give the Speedmaster one to eddie tomorrow to see if he can do ought first. The Speedmaster one cost me near enough 60 quid, could have got 2 HOR ones for that

I think the ones Marks mate does are £75 -80 ? but you get a thicker shaft and a flex cable in the price. How he explained it to me as it spins it tightens itself so the shaft cant come loose ever.It spins awesome ,so free and smooth.Ill be having one for the apache at some point but might run the strut for now.Hope to find time to get it wet soon, will see as ive got orders to get out first.
