Ok here we go again Makara refit
Getting it ready for twin inline modded zenoahs.
Ripped out all the gear just going to cut the strigers out
and replace them with thicker marine ply also double board
the transom.

Ady anychance of having the inline engine parts for 24hours i can take to our CNC shop and write a programme for them

Yea no problem Phil .

Stringers out now all sanded ready for new ones
and it was a hell of a job. when i put stringers in
they want to stay in but power tools won the day/night lol.

Those motors dont look odd in that big hull.
should be AWESOME with a capital A!!!

LOL trust me its nearly done had it all built up and ready
for fireing up pulled it all out to paint the inside of the hull
done now well abit more tomorrow lol.
looks like theres alot left to do but it will only take a half a day..

Are you going to be able still put the canopy on?
watching how you mount the pipes..should give me some ideas..
theres going to be a ton of tubing.. :shock:

Need some different headers so as to get the pipes
in he boat will run it like that for now without the hatch
but room down the side for them.

Whats the tuned pipe length you've got there Ade? it looks alot longer than 12-13"..

Pipes are just pushed on for now see wot they look like
when i get em in the boat ill sort the lenght out ish :wink:

how about turning one head round and running an exhaust down each side its no big deal to have two throttle links/cables etc also it will look so much better and scale like with a tail pipe coming out on each side and there will be no need to cut the hatch .

Turning the head through 180 will mean that engine will be down on power a little..

Rob had turned a head round on one of my engines he can't see any loss in power .
(both engines are coupled together so any minor loss wont be seen anyway)
the only thing you have to do is turn the piston and shave a couple of fins to clear the coil .
